I enjoy this book a great deal, and figured perhaps other people would want to hear it instead of read it! I made these recordings while reading to my wife, so there may be background noise (especially the mouse clicking as she plays Minecraft). I also try to do character voices, which don't always come out so great. And, of course, the editing isn't professional, so I missed some verbal stumbles.
What's the deal with this book? Well it's basically System Shock fan-fiction. The Foreword explains it well. The Free Radical full text is freely available.
I have obtained permission to make these recordings, but as far as I know the contents are still under copyright, so contact Shamus if you want to do anything with these other than listen to them.
A good place to leave comments for either Shamus or myself is in the Free Radical Audio Book blog post on Shamus' blog.
