Computer Table

The old table we had for the computer wasn't really working very well, so I made a new one!

I occasionally do handyman work along with other physical products. If you'd like to commission a custom build, I can help you with that.

Back Door Table Done

The old table

The full table design. I was trying to treat the wood grain as a kind of topographic map, laying out roads, towns, and cities.

The table top with completed wood burning, but before sealing the surface

Unlike the surface of the table, all four of the legs were laser engraved, selectively stained, and then laser engraved again. The overall pattern is the same for each, but the second stage engraving is unique.
I think the maze pattern is my favorite, as it fills the space nicely, and stands out just well enough.

Table Top Detail. I was treating the knots in the wood as volcanoes that had released dragons or something, so the towns and cities around them were despoiled ruins.

Table Top Detail. These towns and cities have been well defended by their fortress outposts, and have thus been able to maintain their integrity.

Table top wood flaw detail. I'm not sure why I took a photo of this. It certainly has a look.
